MOKKOJI KOREA debuted last year as a festival for exchanges of lifestyle and culture between Korea and the rest of the world, such as food, beauty, fashion and games.

* MOKKOJI means a gathering of people for games, parties and other occasions in Korean.

MOKKOJI KOREA selects Focus Countries each year to run MOKKOJI FESTIVAL. This year, Russia, India and Indonesia have been selected and they are feted each for a week of every month from September to November.

Indonesia is the last Focus Country of 2021 MOKKOJI KOREA. During Indonesia Week, MOKKOJI MINI TALK will be open at 4 pm (WIB) each day from November 8 to 13, featuring K-pop singers A.C.E and Dreamcatcher. On November 8, A.C.E will introduce Korea’s meal kit service, while cooking it themselves to let the appeal of Korean foods known to the fans. On the 10th, they will introduce Korean fashion trends, such as modern Hanbok and outdoor clothes, as well as trying on Indonesian traditional clothes, to experience the clothing culture of both countries.

On the 12th, Dreamcatcher will share how Koreans enjoy camping and communicate with Indonesian fans through YouTube live streaming.

MOKKOJI LIVE will be held at 4 pm (WIB) on November 14, the last day of Indonesia Week. Kyuhyun from Super Junior will join A.C.E and Dreamcatcher to communicate with their fans in real-time for three hours through video, including live performancesand online fan meetings. On the day, K-pop idols will introduce snacks and travel experiences from Korea and Indonesia. Especially, Kyuhyun will draw much attention from fans by presenting Korean traditional games that have recently been a hot topic through the Netflix drama ‘Squid Game’. SM Entertainment’s SMTown Wonderland 2021 raised the bar for Halloween celebrations in K-pop land. An annual celebration that was canceled for two years, K-pop’s own MET gala SMTown Wonderland sees selective SM artists dress up at their utmost best in detailed costumes and incredible makeup for the spooky season.

While JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and HYBE fans waited quite a long time to receive some Halloween content, SM opened up its Trick or Treat galore at the start of October 31 and kept it going throughout the day.

SM stans didn’t sign up for the havoc it would unleash on social media. SMTown Wonderland is often labeled as the MET gala of K-pop, and the SM artists have proved their status once again.

Among the multiple incredible outfits, NCT 127’s leader Taeyong and member Jungwoo are going viral as fans can’t stop gushing about their couple-Halloween character choice.

Taeyong dressed up in all black with white makeup and a dark shade of lipstick with an intense expression, portraying Twilight’s vampire Edward Cullen. Meanwhile, Jungwoo became his counterpart by dressing up as Bella Swan.

Needless to say, fans are going berserk over Jungwoo’s outfit. The craze especially stems from the idol being able to carry off multiple looks. Tunisia film festival opens with 'taboo' abortion movie - FRANCE 24

Tunisia's prestigious Carthage Film Festival has opened with a screening of "Lingui" -- a movie from Chad about a teenage girl who seeks an abortion.

The festival showcases 57 diverse films from 45 Arab and African countries, with screenings not only in cinemas, but in prisons and military barracks too.

Social issues are a common thread of the festival, with the opening film Lingui, by Chadian director Mahamat-Saleh Haroun, telling the story of a 15-year-old seeking an abortion in a country where it is condemned.

Haroun said he was honoured to open the festival Saturday with "a taboo subject".

"It is a... political choice on the part of the festival, because it is a sub-Saharan film, which talks about the rights of women, in Arab countries and around the world," he said.

Under the slogan "Let's dream, Let's live", the festival is taking place across the capital Tunis this week, with screenings and talks until Saturday.

The festival is "intended to be a celebration of art, creativity, cinema and life", organisers say, and hopes to explore "new cinematographic trends in Africa and the Arab world".

Entries from Arab nations include films from Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen, while from sub-Saharan Africa they include movies from Ghana, Madagascar, Mali, Somalia and South Africa.

Other films include Egyptian director Ali Al Arabi's 2021 film "Captains of Zaatari", about refugees in Jordan wanting to become professional footballers, and Jessica Beshir's 2021 film from Ethiopia, "Faya Dayi", of young people's dreams under a harsh regime.

The official selection also includes a documentary by Syrian filmmaker Amel Alzakout, "Purple Sea", made from images filmed when she fled Syria and the boat on which she was travelling sank off the Greek coast.

Veteran Italian producer Enzo Porcelli is chair of the jury, alongside others including Angolan actor Hoji Fortuna, Egyptian film critic Tareq Al Shennawy, Iranian director Ahmad Bahrami and Haitian director Gessica Geneus.

BTS: K-pop group's leader RM responded to a few posts shared by fans on Weverse. One of them revealed that her family thinks she's dating Jimin.

BTS leader RM seemed surprised when he found out that a fan's family thinks she's dating his fellow K-pop group member Jimin. A fan, whose handle on Weverse reads MyNameMochi, said that though she doesn't have a boyfriend, her family thinks she and BTS singer Jimin are dating.

She wrote, “Jimin I don't have a boyfriend. but my whole family knows you're my boyfriend. what should l do?” RM replied, “Wow.”

The comment also caught fan attention because of a typing mistake. The original post read ‘I don't have a girlfriend’ whereas the fan intended to write ‘I don’t have a boyfriend.' She shared a note to clarify her post as well.

Previously, RM and his fellow BTS member Jin had addressed another similar post addressed to V. During their VLive in August, a fan requested RM and Jin to get the fan married to V. Not only did they read the comment out loud but they also congratulated V. “We should send him a fridge,” they joked. 

Meanwhile, RM replied to over 20 other Weverse posts on Friday. In one of the posts, a fan wrote, "I do not need a boyfriend. I have namjoonie." As translated by BTS fan account @btstranslation7 on Twitter, RM replied, “-poem of the day-”. A fan also asked RM what he would be dressing up as on Halloween. He said, “baby shark.” 

One of the fans also revealed that they tried to dye their hair like Jungkook. “I dyed my hair green after seeing Jungkook's hair, but almost died bleaching it seriously,” the fan said. RM replied, “Not everyone can do it.”

BTS is currently preparing for the group's upcoming concert in Los Angeles. The concert, which marks their first in-person live show since the pandemic began, would take place in the end of November. BTS Leader RM's hilarious banter with fans will leave you in splits; Take a look - Republic World

The South Korean band, BTS members frequently indulge in fun and interesting banter with their fans, or what they call BTS Army. The BTS leader, RM recently indulged in one such interaction with the Army and left everyone cracked up.

BTS is the prominent South Korean boy band formed in 2010 and consists of seven popular members namely  Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

As The BTS boy band keep interacting with their fans through social media, one of the members, RM recently took to Weverse, a social media app developed for artists' fans and interacted with his fans. As the singer recently shared a thought on the application, a fan expressed her dilemma stating that though she does not have a boyfriend, her family thinks that she is having an affair with Jimin. “Jimin, I don't have a boyfriend. But my whole family knows you're my boyfriend. What should l do?” she stated. However, the fun part was that she made a typing error in her original comment and wrote 'girlfriend' instead of 'boyfriend.' As BTS RM came across the comment, he reacted to it by stating 'Wow.' After RM reacted to the comment, the fan who goes by the username MyNameMochi, accepted her error in another comment. Another fan asked for a suggestion from the BTS member and asked whether he should go to the gym and work out or just sleep and eat because that was life. “Namjoonah, what should I do? Should I go to the gym and work out tomorrow? Squid Game actress Lee Yoo Mi has the perfect Halloween costume this year as she transforms into the show's iconic green light, red light doll. Created by Korean filmmaker Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix, Squid Game is a riveting drama that explores social themes like survival and economic disparity. The story is about 456 players participating in a series of children's games for the chance to win a big cash prize. Also known as the Younghee doll, the figure appeared on Squid Game's pilot episode and has become an iconic figure for the series. In the first game, the contestants played a round of red light, green light as the 10-foot robotic doll towers before them. It sing-songs a chilling and ominous phrase as the players nervously run around. If the doll catches anyone making a wrong move, the player instantly gets shot by snipers.

What makes the red light, green light doll so creepy is that its image is actually lifted from the classic Korean character in children's textbooks.
