Which artists are featuring on Margot Robbie starrer Barbie's soundtrack?

Barbie's soundtrack titled Barbie: The Album will feature music from different musicians including American singers Ava Max, Dominic Fike, Khalid, Lizzo, Gayle, Ice Spice, Kali, and rock band Haim. English songwriters Charli XCX and PinkPantheress, Albanian pop star Dua Lipa, South Korean girl group Fifty Fifty, and Columbian musician Karol G are also on the list of artists to be featured on the Margot Robbie starrer film.

Apart from them, popular Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, Australian singer The Kid Laroi, and actor Ryan Gosling, who stars as Ken in the film, will also be featuring on the Barbie soundtrack, reports The Rolling Stone. More artists will be announced as the release date of the soundtrack album nears. The compilation will release on July 21, the same day the film, starring Robbie and Gosling, is released in theaters worldwide.

Based on the fashion doll Barbie, the film is the first live-action adaptation of the popular toy created by Mattel. Lipa's contribution titled Dance The Night released hours ago and the singer posted a clip from the song on her Instagram. She wrote, "DANCE THE NIGHT written for @barbiethemovie OUT NOW EVERYWHERE!!! Watch the full video on youtube and you can listen / stream the song on all streaming platforms [headphones emoji]."

"I wrote this song with my friends @iammarkronson @wyattish @carolineailin and we hope you LOVE IT! Barbie out in cinemas July 21st!!!! [two hearts emoji] [disco ball emoji]," she concluded. Meanwhile, Minaj's contribution was featured toward the end of the trailer of the film. "It's Barbie, bitch, if you still in doubt," she croons as the release date flashes on the screen. As per the Apple Music tracklist, Minaj is collaborating with Ice Spice and Aqua, the Danish band from Denmark known for their hit Barbie Girl, for the song Barbie World.

The lyrics of the song by Aqua say, "I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world. Life in plastic, it's fantastic" which became the Barbie mantra while the song became the unofficial anthem for the doll ever since its release in 1997. Meanwhile, this won't be Minaj and Spice's first collaboration as they recently released a song together called Princess Diana.

On May 18, NLE Choppa dropped Fast X's Angel Pt.1 official music video featuring BTS Jimin, Kodak Black, JVKE, and Muni Long. The music video showcased the five talented singers singing the OST for the new film of the Fast and Furious franchise. The video also showcased some of the clips from the film.

The American action film FAST X was helmed by director Louis Leterrier. The film is the sequel to the 2021 film F9, the tenth main installment, and the eleventh installment in the Fast & Furious franchise.

The film revolves around how Dominic Toretto has to go through a series of obstacles to protect his crew and family from the potential dangers set up by the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes. The son aims to seek revenge for the loss of his family's wealth from the heist that occurred in Rio de Janeiro.

Dating rumours surrounding BTS’ V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie do not seem to be going away this time, as the two K-Pop stars were allegedly spotted walking hand in hand in Paris. While BTS’ agency has said that it is difficult to check the matter, the journalist who claimed V and Jennie were in the clip recently issued more clarification.

South Korean pop stars are known to be very interactive with their fans, but not about their dating lives. For years, BTS and BLACKPINK members have remained tight-lipped about their personal matters and avoided responding to rumours. However, V and Jennie’s romance rumours have often come in light and this time with a video.

Earlier this week, V jetted off to France for a CELINE event, while Jennie flew there to attend Cannes Film Festival. In a clip shared by French journalist Amar Taoualit, V and Jennie were reportedly spotted taking a stroll in Paris while holding hands. While many questioned the authenticity of the clip, the journalist claimed they were V and Jennie.

In response to the clip, BTS‘ agency HYBE Entertainment and BLACKPINK‘s YG Entertainment briefly said, “It is difficult to check [regarding this matter].” Now, the French journalist has provided more clarity to the case via a statement.

Taking to his Instagram, the journalist mentioned that he saw the two K-Pop stars on May 15 and said, “Since I get a lot of messages, here are the facts about this video. I simply filmed well-known personalities in the usual context of my work as a journalist. I specify that this video dates from before yesterday (Monday night May 15) and that I posted it today so that they are not bothered. I didn’t plan to see them in front of me and I didn’t have my camera.”

The journalist further mentioned that he shot the video on his i-Phone and added, “Yes, I saw them well Jennie and V, I confirm. Now we waiting if there will be a confirmation from the Idols if they together or not.”

On May 15, 2023, Stray Kids' Bang Chan went live on YouTube, rolling out his weekly show, Chan's Room. Among the several things that he discussed in the live stream, the idol also talked about a certain K-pop group and their lack of respect directed towards him.

While the idol never named who he was referring to, fans deduced that it might be a fourth-generation group. Speaking about the group's behavior, Chan hinted that the behavior might have something to do with group members not bowing when greeting someone, which is the accepted manner of greeting and according respect in South Korea. In episode 208 of Chan's Room, Stray Kids' Bang Chan recounted the incident where a fellow K-pop group, possibly younger, did not bow while greeting him. Though he didn't mention names, Chan admitted to wondering whether he was wrong in expecting respect. He said:

Given that Stray Kids' relationship with most artists like AB6IX, The Boyz, ENHYPEN, and NMIXX is evidently good, fans settled on their last-standing option, IVE, as the one possibly mentioned. Another artist who participated in the music festival was MAMAMOO, who didn't seem to fit the category of Bang Chan's description of "this generation," given that they are a third generation group.

Blackpinks agency announces pre-debut song date for new group Baby Monster - Geo News

K-pop band Blackpink’s company confirms the pre-debut song release date for their new group Baby Monster. The founder of YG Entertainment recently announced the surprising final lineup for the group.

The final announcement came after their Youtube series where they evaluated all the potential members. He initially claimed that out of the seven trainees, only five would make it into the final selection.

He announced the five members he selected, leaving out two of them as he wanted them to be a part of some upcoming projects.

The members that he selected included Chiquita, Pharita, Haram, Ahyeon and Ruka. For Asa, he said that he wants her to be a part of a project he has planned in Japan and for Rora, he wants her to debut in YG’s next girl group.

However, he explained that because people were so insistent that all seven should debut, he re-evaluated his decision.

“‘YG Family’ is not just the gathering of YG artists, as I believe that YG fans and everyone who has diligently tuned in to these broadcasts are the true YG Family.”

He added: “I will take all seven with me.”

Hence, all seven trainees made it in the first girl group from the agency in around seven years since the debut of the global phenomenon Blackpink. They also announced soon after that their pre-debut song Dream would be released on May 14th.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on May 8th, the title song 'Cupid' of FIFTY FIFTY’s first single 'The Beginning: Cupid' released on February 24th ranked 19th on the 'Hot 100'. After first entering the chart at number 100 on April 1st, it rose to number 94 in the second week, 85th in the third week, and 60th in the fourth week, ranked 50th in the fifth week, and ranked 41st in the sixth week.

This is a figure that proves that local popularity continues. Most of the records set by K-pop girl groups have also been broken. The Meg 2 Trailer Already Spoiled The Movie's Most Shocking Death - Screen Rant

The Meg 2: The Trench already spoiled the movie's most shocking kill. Jaws not only kicked off the killer shark movie genre, but it also set a bar that was impossible to top. Even solidly made contenders like Deep Blue Sea, 47 Meters Down or even Jaws 2 pale in comparison to Spielberg's groundbreaking blockbuster. The same can be said for 2018's The Meg, based on the novel of the same name. Wisely, this Jason Statham vehicle opted to largely forego scares in favor of humor and setpieces though.

The Meg had its share of flaws, but its excellent marketing campaign and mix of action and laughs made it a surprise success. The Meg 2's trailer sees Statham return as Jonas Taylor, who not only has to face even larger Megs that emerge from the trench but other threats such as a giant squid. The trailer alone makes it clear the Ben Wheatley-helmed sequel will have tongue planted firmly in cheek, and in addition to some impressive money shots, it spoils a particularly hilarious kill.

Skyler Samuels' Meg 2 Death Could Have Been A Great Jump Scare

Scream Queens' Skyler Samuels plays a member of Jonas' submarine crew in The Meg 2, but the follow-up's preview makes it very clear she won't have a major role. The Meg 2's trailer shows her character tapping on the "Meg Proof" glass of an underwater facility while talking on her phone. Unfortunately for her, a Megalodon circling outside decides to test just how resilient the glass is, breaking through and snapping Samuels' character up in one bite.

It's the comedy highlight of The Meg 2 preview, and no doubt got people talking about the sequel. That said, showing this moment also completely spoils what would have been a great jump scare in theaters. Trailers for major blockbusters always have a tricky balance between showing off the most impressive moments and trying not to spoil key surprises. Again, Samuels' character probably isn't a huge part of The Meg 2's plot, but it would have been nice for audiences to experience this nicely timed jolt while watching the film for the first time.

The Meg 2 Trailer Spoils Its Deep Blue Sea Tribute

Of course, Samuels' demise also calls back to another killer shark favorite. 1999's Deep Blue Sea saw a group of people trapped in an underwater facility by hyper-intelligent sharks, with the survivors being led by Samuel L. Jackson's grizzled businessman. Well, that's until the midway point of Deep Blue Sea, where his character is giving an impassioned speech - only to be snatched and eaten by a huge shark. Samuel's Meg 2 death is a hilarious nod to this infamous scene, but again, it might have worked better if audiences could have walked into the sequel unspoiled for this moment.

It's Chaos on the High Seas in New 'The Meg 2' Poster - Collider

This summer, there will be more than just sharks in the water. Five years after the surprise success of Jason Statham's movie The Meg, its long-awaited sequel, The Meg 2: The Trench is preparing to wade into the choppy summer waters. And ahead of its August release, a new international poster has just been released, giving us a glimpse into a sucker of a new oceanic threat.

The new international poster shows a giant squid taking down a helicopter. One tentacle holds a woman in its grasp, while another is wrapped around the helicopter. A man holds on to the bottom of the helicopter and reaches out to the woman, who is about to be plunged into the depths of the ocean. The new poster teases at a sequence shown briefly in the trailer for the film. The new poster showcases the plethora of giant animals to be featured in the film, which looks to have its heart set on outdoing its ridiculously outsized first installment. Both The Meg 2: The Trench and The Meg are based on novels by writer Steve Alten.

A Gripping Sequel

Originally released in 2018, The Meg followed a group of scientists who encounter a giant shark while on a rescue mission on the ocean floor. The group is led by rescue diver Jonas Taylor, played by Statham, who puts his action chops to the test in the often ridiculous but always entertaining film. The sequel, however, looks to outdo the scale of the original. The trailer opens with a T. Rex being gobbled up by a megalodon while hunting down its prey on the beach. And that's just in the first minute. The rest of the trailer goes on to show how much damage these prehistoric creatures can and will do, from swallowing up paddle-boaters to chomping on undersea influencers, no one is safe from these gigantic, aquatic creatures.

IU's agency states that she was not informed about the plagiarism charges, but found out through news reports - allkpop

On May 10 KST, IU's agency EDAM Entertainment stepped forward with a statement of response to earlier reports, which claimed that an anonymous individual had filed police charges against the singer for suspicions of plagiarism. 

According to EDAM Entertainment, "We have been aware for some time now that false claims of plagiarism and baseless rumors have been spread via various online communities, SNS communities, YouTube, as well as in print form in certain areas. We've recently confirmed that for the past several months, serious accounts of malicious activity were detected on multiple online communities and Naver cafe pages. After confirming the above, the agency proceeded to collect all forms of evidence related to accusations of plagiarism, false rumors, sexual harassment and defamation of character, invasion of privacy, etc; based on the collected evidence, we have submitted lawsuits against responsible parties through the agency's law firm. Then, today, while still waiting on the proceedings of the lawsuits, we found out through the news reports that charges have been filed against IU with the police."

The agency continued, "As of now, we have not received any form of official notice from investigators, and we are learning of the charges for the first time through the news reports from today. We have no information regarding the charges filed, and we are in the midst of confirming the details related to the charges." 

Finally, EDAM Entertainment strongly emphasized that legal action will be taken against any malicious online posts defaming the artist's character.

'Meg 2: The Trench' trailer: Jason Statham back to fight three giant sharks - Times of India

The next instalment of Hollywood actor Jason Statham's shark thriller 'The Meg' enthralling trailer was unveiled on Tuesday.
Taking to Instagram, Jason Statham treated fans to the trailer.
Sharing the trailer, he wrote, "#Meg2 in theaters August 4."
According to report, a US-based media house, in the first official trailer for 'Meg 2: The Trench', Jason Statham encounters not one or two, but three deep-sea prehistoric sharks as well as a huge creature with numerous tentacles.
A sequel was announced shortly after "The Meg" earned USD 530 million globally in 2018. The Megalodon, a species of enormous shark once believed to be extinct, attacked a party of scientists' submersible in the first movie. Now, Warner Bros. has pulled back the curtain on the film after debuting its first trailer ahead of the movie's Aug. 4 premiere.
In the new video, Statham is shown working alongside Wu Jing, a huge Chinese star who has been in blockbusters including 'The Wandering Earth', 'Wolf Warrior', and 'The Battle at Lake Changjin'. Before taking on a trio of sharks at a tourist attraction at sea level, the pair lead an underwater expedition to the ocean's bottom to study new animals. Of course, a lot of people are caught in the jaws.
Alongside Statham, Wiu, Cliff Curtis, Sienna Guillory, Skyler Samuels, Page Kennedy, Shuya Sophia Cai, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta, 'Meg 2' will also feature. Li Bingbing, who starred in "The Meg" alongside Statham, won't be appearing in the follow-up, as per report.
The 1997 techno-thriller 'Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror' by Steve Alten served as the inspiration for the movie 'The Meg.' The authors of 'Meg 2' as well as Dean Georgaris, Erich Hoeber, and Jon Hoeber wrote the original adaption. The upcoming sequel is being directed by Ben Wheatley.
