Yet Adele revealed that the road to making the accompanying music video wasn't without its difficulties as she shared hilarious behind-the-scenes bloopers on Instagram on Thursday.
Backstage blunders in the clip saw the singer, 33, smacked in the face with sheet music during one dramatic scene, while she struggled with the cassette tape in the car - seen at the beginning of the video.

Captioning the series of funny clips, Adele penned: 'It’s all smoke and mirrors! Here’s all the bloopers from the Easy On Me video.'
The chart-topper gave her fans an insight into the making of the video, with Adele and her team clearly having lots of fun during the process.
The scene in which she sits in a chair and belts out the chorus while sheet music billows around her was seemingly filmed several times as the star had paper flap in her face on many occasions.
She was seen bursting into giggles as she was interrupted by a page hitting her in the face mid-note.

Meanwhile, Adele became irritated as the cassette tape struggled to stay in the cassette player, with the beauty seen struggling to get it to stay put.
Other funny moments saw the Tottenham native having issues with her longline PVC burgundy coat as she stood in the hallway with a suitcase, causing her to swear in frustration.
While in another clip, Adele had difficulty winking and yells 'I can't wink!' to producers out of shot.
Easy On Me soared straight to the top of the charts when it was released last month, with 217,300 sales in its first week - the highest week one figure since Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You, which earned 226,800 in January 2017.

Easy On Me is Adele’s first release from her upcoming album 30, which is set to be released on 19 November.
The star also broke a second Official UK Chart record, as her new single gained 24 million streams in the UK.
It topped a previous record held by pop-singer Ariana Grande, whose January 2019 song 7 Rings held 16.9 million streams.
Adele's latest smash hit also dominated UK radio in the seven days since its release, becoming the first record this year to break 100 million listeners in one week.

Easy On Me also earned the biggest week of digital download sales of 2021 so far, with 23,500.
The release of Adele’s new music sparked a resurgence in streams of her back catalogue, as loyal fans sent two more of her hits back into the Top 40 last month.
When We Were Young landed at Number 25, and Someone Like You took the spot at Number 34.
They also sent her first three albums back into top spots on the Official Albums Chart, as 25 jumped three places to reach Number 3, while 21 climbed eight places to Number 6 and 19 managed 39 places to Number 15.

Meanwhile, Adele will make her UK concert comeback in ITV special, An Audience With Adele, due to be held at the London Palladium.
The songstress, who has recently released new music for the first time in six years, will perform record-breaking number one single Easy On Me at the gig, along with new tracks from her forthcoming album, 30 - in her first UK concert in four years.

This comes as Adele fans were been given a sneak peek of her upcoming One Night Only CBS TV special with Oprah Winfrey, which will air on November 14.
The singer took to the stage at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California for an intimate concert before sitting down with the chat show host for an interview.
Lorraine Kelly gave fans a preview of the special on Tuesday's episode of her ITV show and said: 'She sounds amazing doesn't she? Looks fantastic.'
