'Extraction 2' is coming on Netflix. Know release date, plot, watch trailer - Economic Times

The original Extraction achieved great success after its release and now we have its sequel "Extraction 2". Given its success as one of Netflix's most triumphant Original movies, it comes as no shock that the sequel is finally coming! Boasting an impressive viewership of over 99 million households, it even surpassed renowned titles, such as Bird Box, Murder Mystery, and 6 Underground.

Returning as director, we have Sam Hargrave, who is also famous for his work in "Avengers: Endgame" and "Atomic Blonde", aside from the original Extraction.

Moreover, Russo Brothers, who have directed four MCU films, are serving as executive producers. Joe Russo has written the story.

'Extraction 2' Trailer

Netflix recently posted Extraction 2's trailer on YouTube. The trailer gives us a sneak peek as to what to expect from the upcoming action sequel.

'Extraction 2' Release Date

Earlier, it was reported that Extraction 2 will hit the OTT platform in June 2022, however, as per a January 2023 report and now the official trailer, the movie is slated to release on June 16, 2023.
