Mr. Queen stars Kim Jung Hyun and Shin Hye Sun shared their thoughts on the impending finale of the show and how they are happy to make the viewers' laugh in these difficult times.
It is heartbreaking to admit that Mr. Queen is all set to bid adieu this week! The gender-bender saeguk drama starring Kim Jung Hyun as the multi-faceted monarch King Cheoljong and Shin Hye Sun as Kim So Yong, who has the soul of Blue House chef Jang Bong Hwan trapped inside her body was so loved by fans! The show delivered crackling humour and rib-tickling laughter throughout it's air time. In a recent interview, Kim Jung Hyun and Shin Hye Sun discussed the stupendous success of the show and how they were happy to gift viewers the joy of laughter in these difficult times.
In an interview with Sports Trend via Soompi, Kim Jung Hyun and Shin Hye Sun agreed in unison that there were happy to make viewers laugh in these difficult times. Kim Jung Hyun expressed, “Being able to gift viewers with laughter in this difficult time was a huge joy for me, so much so that I couldn’t ask for anything more." Shin Hye Sun also echoed a similar sentiment saying that she hopes viewers were able to forget their stress and tension and smile in peace while watching the drama. She also reminisced about shooting for the show and how time flew by so quickly! She shared that playing the character of Kim So Yong, allowed her to experience different kinds of challenges and experiences.
Kim Jung Hyun also personally requested viewers to enjoy his emotional ballad Like The First Snow, for which he penned the lyrics himself. He further shared that audiences should watch out for King Cheoljong's growth in the final two episodes of the show. Both the actors expressed their sincere gratitude to audiences for loving and sticking by the show throughout. The final two episodes of Mr Queen will air on February 13 and 14 at 9 p.m. KST. Like The First Snow is set to release on February 17 along with the physical copy of Mr. Queen's official soundtrack.
