Olivia Rodrigo Lands Four Top 10 Hits On Billboard’s Global Chart As BTS Debuts At No. 1 - Forbes

Two brand new releases debut inside the top 10 on this week’s Billboard Global 200 chart, with some of the biggest and most beloved musicians on the planet adding to their already impressive career hit counts.

BTS rule the latest Billboard Global 200, Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most-consumed songs in the world, as their latest single “Butter” starts off in first place. The track is the seven-member band’s fourth champion on the list, and one more ruler extends their lead as the musical act with the most No. 1 smashes. According to Billboard, the tune arrives with the largest first-week sum ever, as it was a bestseller and a massive streaming success as well.

Behind BTS’s latest No. 1, Olivia Rodrigo claims four spaces inside the top 10 this week, as her first three singles occupy spots inside the area while one newly-released album cut also debuts close to the top. After opening in first place last frame, “Good 4 U” descends to second place in its second week on the list. Just behind that win, previous single “Deja Vu” returns to the top 10 and hits a new high of No. 3.

Several rungs further down, “Traitor” kicks off its time on the tally at No. 7, giving the star her fourth top 10. The tune is clearly one of the most popular efforts from her debut album Sour, as it hasn’t yet been promoted as a single and yet it ranks as one of the 10 biggest songs in the world.

Coming in at No. 9 is the 18-year-old powerhouse’s first single “Drivers License,” which still holds the record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Both Dua Lipa and DaBaby’s “Levitating” and Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More” fall slightly, settling at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. Lil Nas X’s former champion “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” is comfortable at No. 6, while The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s “Save Your Tears” (No. 8) and Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar and Giveon’s “Peaches” (No. 10) appear new the bottom of the top 10, with the latter two titles surrounded in part by Rodrigo’s aforementioned hits.

Adblock test (Why?)
