Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai of Tomorrow X Together originally released their album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE on May 31. The K-pop group‘s album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. On Aug. 17, TXT released a repackage of the album called The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, leading The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE to break back into the top 10 spots of the Billboard 200.
TXT’s album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200
Four of TXT’s albums have entered the Billboard 200: Still Dreaming, The Dream Chapter: Star, minisode1: Blue Hour, and The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE. The quintet’s 2020 EP minisode1: Blue Hour debuted at No. 25 on the chart. The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE surpassed the success of minisode1: Blue Hour and debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
After its release, Billboard reported that The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE “sold 39,000 copies in the U.S. in the week ending June 10, according to MRC Data. It’s the best sales week yet for the act… A hefty 96% of the album’s sales came from the CD editions, while the remaining 4% were from the digital album.”
In its first week, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, becoming the K-pop group’s second No. 1 on the chart. Their first No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart occurred with minisode1: Blue Hour.

‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ re-entered the Billboard 200
On Aug. 29, Billboard reported new weekly rankings for the Billboard 200, and TXT’s The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE surged back into the top 10 spots at No. 8.
According to Billboard, “TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s The Chaos Chapter: Freeze re-enters the chart at No. 8 with 47,000 equivalent album units earned (up 667%) following a deluxe reissue on Aug. 20 with additional tracks and new physical CD packaging. The set previously debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the June 19-dated chart.”
Billboard also tweeted that The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE was the second top-selling album of the week, writing, “This week’s top-selling albums: 1. @Olivia_Rodrigo Sour 2. @TXT_members The Chaos Chapter: Freeze 3. @Lorde Solar Power 4. @billieeilish Happier Than Ever 5. @AaliyahHaughton One In A Million.”

TXT released a repackage album called ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’
On Aug. 17, TXT dropped the second and final album of The Chaos Chapter series, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE. The album features three new songs along with the tracklist from The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.
In total, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE has 11 tracks: “LO$ER=LO♡ER,” “Anti-Romantic,” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori,” “Magic,” “Ice Cream,” “What if I had been that PUMA,” “No Rules,” “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari),” “Dear Sputnik,” “Frost,” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori (Emocore Mix).”
While “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori” was the lead single from The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, “LO$ER=LO♡ER” is the title track on The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE.
