Morgan Wallen broke Taylor Swift’s record on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart when his latest song secured the top spot for the most weeks at number one.
The 31-year-old country star beat out both Swift and Roddy Rich — who were tied with 18 weeks at the top of Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 list this decade — when his collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” took over the top spot for 19, Chart Data reported.
One fan account of Post Malone’s wrote on X that his Wallen collab also “has returned to #1 on the US Spotify chart in its 27th day, gaining 3,125,853 streams.”
Fans of the “Whiskey Glasses” hitmaker shared their excitement when news surfaced that he broke another record, taking to social media to label him the “GOAT” [Greatest Of All Time] and more, MSN noted.
“He’s the hottest artist right now,” one person wrote. “And he’s got everything lined up for it to stay that way for a long time. Everything he puts out is better than the last – it’s amazing to watch his trajectory. Love it!!
Another added simply, “GOAT.”
While a third person wrote, “Good Taylor hasn’t been good since she was country in my opinion I don’t get the hype at all. All her songs sound like a whin-y spoken word poem.”
The country singer previously broke another record by the “Shake It Off” hitmaker when his latest album “One Thing At A Time” debuted breaking the record once held by Swift for having the most songs on the Streaming Songs chart at once, with 36 tracks claiming 30 spots on the chart, MSN.com noted.

Wallen held the title no artist ever had until the “Lover” hitmaker dropped her album “The Tortured Poets Department” in April, with 31 songs taking over 31 spots on the streaming chart and beating out Wallen.
The record-breaking news comes after the country star recently made headlines when he was arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct for throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s bar in downtown Nashville on April 7.
Weeks after the reports about the chair throwing incident, Wallen finally addressed being arrested and made it clear he wasn’t “proud” of what happened in April.
“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” Wallen wrote. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.”
“I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe,” he added. “Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”
